The deity here is Lord Hanuman in his rare five-faced (Panchamukhi) form, representing his five divine aspects. This temple is believed to be the place where Rayaru meditated, and visiting it is considered highly auspicious.

Bichale
Bichale is a small village located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, around 20 km from Mantralaya. It is known for the Appanacharya Brindavana and the long spiritual companionship shared between Appanacharya and Sri Raghavendra Swamy.
